Communication is key Cancellations will be dealt with case by case. I understand life happens and as long as you have communicated refunds and rescheduling should not be an issue. Online & In-Person: If the student does not attend the scheduled lesson within the quarter of the schedules lesson it will automatically be canceled and, if pre-paid, no refund will be issued. Online & In-Person: In the event, I need to cancel a scheduled lesson, the student may choose to either reschedule the lesson or receive a full refund. Online & In-Person: Students may not cancel a pre-paid scheduled lesson. Lessons may be rescheduled if done at least 1 day before the scheduled lesson. In-Person: In the event of inclement weather and you do not feel comfortable attending an in-person lesson, the student may either reschedule or receive a 50 percent refund.

Private Lessons

I believe in teaching the whole student, this includes teaching technical proficiency, key musical concepts, fundamentals, musicality, and anything else that will help the student achieve their goals. I use many of the techniques my teachers have imparted on me. These include rote before note, ensuring the students have a clear sound concept and then they work toward that goal. Scaffolding, which builds a strong baseline of skills before building upon them, and allowing students to make their own informed musical decision. As artists it is important we develop our own voice.
